Your misfire is not a timing issue,it is from the low compression on cylinder 2.. it is possible you broke a ring installing the piston or didn't install the rings properly.

I didnt rebuild the motor, I just did the installation and everything else and Yes as a matter of fact it is after market. So I will put the old one cap/rotor on and see what happens. get back to ya.

Ok ive changed out the cap and I cleared the code. Drove it till light came on and checked it... Now its thrown the random multi misfire code only .... Timing???

sounds to me like the original old cap isn't good

So then the timing??? does the 6 line up to the rotor exatcly cuz it aint?

as long as you are within a couple of degrees its ok..It does not line up exactly

Ok I took the valve cover off finally... Its a lazy thing I need to kick... And I found the most crazy thing I have ever seen. The rockers where just layin side ways the washers and nut wher just sittin on the head and I noticed there where no ***** freakin push rods! Dude!!! Where did they go??? How??? What??? OMG!! I cant believe I drove this truck 80 miles an hour down the highway like this. Chevys!! There tough even when not built all the way...

Push rods are likely down in the lifter valley. Time to pull the intake!

That will explain your low compression and misfire! you must not have had the push rod on the lifter correctly or the nut wasn't torqued.

Ive pulled the intake found the push rods still in good shape I will put it together in the mornin after I get RTV sealent and hope all is well...
