hi fellow blazer owners. i have a question because i want to fix my own blazer problems.
here we go about 2 years ago i spun out on a main street, i ended up hitting the rear pasenger rim. the rim is bent and it sounds like knock coming from it, but only sometimes, sometimes is quiet sometimes its really loud, sometimes not that loud. i suspect its my axle. is their anyway of actually making sure its my axle and not something else. please help. thanks in advance.

Removal is pretty straight forward. Safely support the rear of the truck on jack stands up to the frame (not the axle). Disconnect the parking brake cables & brake line(s). Disconnect driveshaft. Remove u-bolts.
As far as what could be wrong, without a better explanation, that is very difficult to say. Any side impact on an axle could cause internal damage. You could pull the cover and inspect the differential. You can also check for up/down play at each wheel. There will be a certain amount of in/out play at the wheel.
