Hello all!

2 questions:

I'm looking for a new axle for my 2001 2WD with a 10 bolt 7.5 differential. VIN code "W"

1. The axle is 26 1/2" (I quickly measured - might be incorrect) or 26 5/8" (I found one listed on National Drive train [$89] - can anyone tell me which is correct?) and...

2. Apparently they are very hard to find. Anyone know where I can get one besides the dealer that wants $418 who refuses to give me a part number or any details, just, "come on down and order it"...

That's odd.. I looked at all of my normal parts websites and could not find anything except the 4wd shafts for a 2001... I'll try looking for a '98 or '99 application which should be the same as your '01.
