Default 2000 Bløazer LS problems with the immobilizer

Every time i stop the engine on my 2000 Blazer LS i have to lock and unlock the car using the keyless remote for the car to start.

If i just turn off the engine and try to start the car it will not start because the immobilizer prevents the fuel pump from getting power i guess

Any members here know if i recode the keyless remote will that help/fix this problem?
Like code a new keyless remote to the car i mean

Is this an aftermarket or factory alarm key fob/remote?

If this is a European-spec Blazer it is quite normal to have to use the fob to enable the vehicle to be started. When you unlock the vehicle with the fob, you have 2 minutes to start it before the immobilizer re-arms itself. When you turn the engine off you have 20 seconds to restart it before the immobilizer re-arms itself. It is a pain I know but is something you just have to get used to i'm afraid. Why on earth GM went down this route with the export models I will never know but that's just the way they are. The European-spec Cadillac Seville is the same. If you use just the key to unlock the vehicle it will start for a couple of seconds & then stop.

The car is a European-spec Blazer. As far as i know it have the factory alarm key fob/remote

I have checked it out a little more and the car behaves like what DaveHearne
describes so then it is supposed to be like this.

I am alsready used to the car behaving like this so it is no major problem

Thanks for your help
