I just replaced my fuel pump in Jan. When at a red light it starts to idle up and down (more down than up) and then on take off it almost dies, after excellerating it goes away. Its almost like its starving for fuel. It didnt start this until a month ago Could this have anything to do with the evap canister?? Im not getting any trouble codes.

 

Check fuel pressure and leakdown first. Key ON, engine OFF, fuel pump running: Pressure must be 60psi to 66psi and must remain above 55psi for at least 10 minutes after the pump shuts off. Post your results.
