Just today my Blazer started to hesitate when taking off or in reverse. I notice that if I do a rolling stop (around 5 mph) and keep going (speed up) I dont have any problems. Also in reverse it gives me problems. Sounds like it is going to die on my. Cant have that happening!
My MIL turned on, luckly not for the P0300 that I have been having, instead I got codes P0101, P0171, and P0174. Which indicates that my MAF is the culprit. I cleaned the sucker about 2 weeks ago. Could it just be faulty at this point? Any ideas on what I can do about this issue?

did you completely dissassemble the MAF... also look into the trottle body and Idle air control.... Big hold up on carbon.... Take it all off and detail em... lots of cleaner and time.. dedicate a day , few beers and awesome crew to hang with while doin it....

I took the MAF off of the intake and the portion that feeds the air to the TB. I did not take apart all of the littler pieces as I didnt have the tools and figured that was best left alone.
Now I did take a look under the hood and noticed that the hose running to the TB from the MAF was disconnected potentially letting air in that was not going through the MAF. I have since connected it and about to take it for a test drive. Is that a possible reason as to why I was getting the codes?
I will post an update here in about 30 - 45 minutes once I have had a chance to take it for a test drive.

The air induction should be fully tight. I'd say get to advanced auto or autozone and get the lil kit with wrenches and sizes of bits to open the maf fully and get that maf clean and prime. There are threads to do it correctly but its as easy as 4 screws and qtips and cleaner. Be gentile spray a lot .. Take it for test drive 50 miles let cpu reset and see if codes dissapear

My next step is to find and buy new clean precats so the air is completely free. And a seafoam job...
