2000 Blazer Possible Tranny Problem?
Hey guys, new to the forum!
This is my second Blazer this year. Last one I had the tranny blew. Clutches burnt out and didn't have the money at the time to swap out a new one. I got this 2000 with off road package and loaded interior for $1000. But from a stop when I give it full throttle, The truck doesn't shift and take off like I feel it should, as my last one would almost spin the tires every time. At first i was thinking "Great another transmission." But I'm hoping not as this is a different problem than before. When it should be shifting down to kick into speed it just lags for a bit than when i get into higher speeds and gears it does fine when accelerating. I have yet to hook my diagnostic computer up but any input or experience in this would be much appreciated. Also, the former owner claims the trans was rebuilt around 100k miles and the truck now sits at 202k.
