Default 2000 Blazer prob with connector or strainer

After driving 2 miles I stopped then couldnt start. Battery was fine and
street mechanic came and banged on fuel tank while I started it.

It cranked right up.

What is the problem? A connector or strainer?

I've had truck for 1.5 years and never did this before. I was running on about a gallon of gas in cold weather.

Fuel pump is going bad, or is now bad, time for a replacement.
Ac delco or Delphi, get an airtex and you will be replacing it again before you know it.
