Default 2000 Blazer shifting right?

my Blazer shifts into its next gear at 2000 is this how it is supposed to be? this is my first Blazer and every vehicle in the past i have owned has shifted at 1500 (except my mustang is manual and i shift at 2500). it shifts smooth and no hesitation or slipping and oil appears to be a clean red color. just wondering

update: the trans still shifts at these rpm's but shifting from park into D or R there is a little delay before it engages (like a second or 2) still shifts great and no slipping. is this cause for alarm?
