2000 Blazer Window Help

I have a 2000 Blazer with the drivers side window that won't work. I thought the motor was bad because it had power at the motor, but the motor wouldn't lower the window.
I drilled through the gear and put a bolt in it, released the tension on the spring. When I drilled out the rivets on the motor, I found the motor would operate properly.
After placing a piece of wood inside the door to keep the window from dropping, it appears that something is jambed because after I removed the bolt in the regulator gear (everything still apart) the window is still jammed in the up position.
I drilled out the 4 regulator rivets to see if I could get something loose and this is where I am stuck. The rivets are out, but I can't disconnect the regulator from the lift device.
How does this go together? I tried to do a search, but no luck. Every thing I read says drill out the 4 rivets and remove. How does it remove?
Any Help would be great.

Well, I didn't get the regulator off, but I did swing it aroung enough to get the rivets out.
Didn't have a rivet tool, so I put it together with 1/4 pan head bolts. I ground the tops flat andused locktite on the nuts. It should hold until together until I can do it right. If I ever do it right.

Replacement motors come with nuts and bolts.
Next time you work on the window I find that a couple strips of duct tape over the top ot the door and attached to both side of the window will hold the window in the up position.
