i am having a similar problem with my 2000 blazer 4.3 vortec, blew intake gasket, replaced intake and head gaskets, now now fire, i have power to one wire that goes into the coil, but not the other side, replaced ignition moduel, coil pack, new plugs and wires, any ideas, i have put alot of money into it this past year and would love to be able to enjoy it, thank you

Check fuzes and recheck the wiring to the ICM and coil.
Did you replace the electrical connector on the backside of the distributor? I almost forgot this when I replaced the intake gaskets.

Perhaps you have broken a wire due to all the moving around required to replace the intake gaskets.

You will probably have to begin checking continunity between the wires going to the coil/ICM which will require a good wiring diagarm.
