I went to the local Pick n Pull because I read on here that it's most likely the blower motor control module that's bad. The blower motor comes on the moment you connect everything up, even with the truck off and key removed.

I grabbed two from the wrecking yard and both of them give same results. Not sure the chances of both being bad however - is there anything else that could be causing this problem before I chuck the bucks for a new one?
