Default 2001 Blazer Door Lock

My son has a 2001 Blazer. I drove it today and noticed his electric doorlock is not funtioniong. It clicks but nothing happens. No other problems that I can see. Is this a fuse ? relay ? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Is just a problem with the passenger doors? Does it work fine for the liftgate? Are you refering to the switch in the door, or the remote?

It doesn't have a remote. The issue is something shorting and causing the fuse to blow. I replaced the 15 amp fuse and after about 10 tries with the lock functioning it blew. I put a 20 amp fuse in and it seemed to hold. I'm thinking since it isn't under constant power I'm probably okay with a 20 amp fuse as long as it doesn't blow. Where to look for the short ? When the fuse is blown none of the doors unlock.

Yes, when the fuse blows, the system should get no power, and thus not work. What size (amps) fuse is supposed to be in there? Using too big a fuse presents a fire hazard... I'm not sure, but it sounds like you have a loose wire somewhere.
