2001 blazer overheating
i have a 01 blazer and it is overheating i took a look at it and when i opened the radiator cap n put coolant in it she spits it out it comes out like a waterfall when i turn on the car without the cap so i replaced the water pump and the upper intake manifold gasket and the theromastate and the pvc valve i just bought the truck to and also i have no heat i dont know if its the heater core or blower someone please help

I would check to see if the radiator is leaking, even the slightest leak (like I had) can cause problems. After you check the radiator check the hoses. If it was the heater core your passenger side floor would be soaked in coolant.

i checked the radiator no leak n have all new hoses could it be my head gasket

Could be the lower intake manifold gasket... You have to get like a mirror to check though.

ok imma change out my lower intake manifold gasket tommarow n ill yall know if it worked or not and a question i have no heat what can it be

The only thing that I can think of is maybe it's a bad thermostat... I'm not real good at diagnosing things lol. I just know about stuff I've already been through with my truck.

put uv dye in the coolant and get a uv light and do a pressure test on the system. when was the last time the cooling system was flushed? when was the last time the cap was replaced? what is going on when you try to start it? is it clicking? is the motor cranking but not actually starting? when was the last time you changed the fuel filter?
