2001 Chevy Blazer 4.3 2dr 4x4...Recently changed out the fuel tank(rusted almost thru), fuel pump, filler neck, fuel filter, charcoal canister, vent valve where the spare tire would be on models that have it under the vehicle. Had issue with the fuel tank pressure sensor, kept popping codes, but I could fill it up no problems. I thought maybe i got a bad one, so i replaced it, was under a warranty. Now i cant get but maybe 50 cents worth of fuel before the pump trips off. I checked my vent hose, no blocks, the filler neck hoses are brand new with no kinks/blockage. I dont hear an whoosh sound when i open the fuel cap like i read on some posts. Any ideas on what i could be missing? I'm at a loss, and theres no codes and no codes pending, I scan it daily just cuz OCD

The Anti siphon ball is stuck. On your 2 door, is in the steel filler neck. If you replaced the filler neck, you probably saw it in the lower end of the neck. Remove it, and you'll have no trouble filling the tank.

I tried that already, its actually straight thru now, was one of the first things i tried, i have a metal tank btw, I should mention when before i changed the fuel tank pressure sensor it accepted fuel just like a champ, changed out the sensor(read above) and that was when i had fueling issues.

4 door models were equipped with plastic or steel tanks, but all 2 doors have steel tanks. During refueling, it's virtually a straight shot on the 2 door models into the tank, so fuel should flow freely. Some of the tank manufacturers install a removable plastic plug in the tank filler neck and pump module openings to keep debris out during shipping. Was yours equipped with those? No offense intended or implied, but I have to ask, were they completely removed before installation?

Wasn't equipped with them, I was able to fill up normally for a few weeks til I changed the ftps and plug, wires were corroded at the plug. Got rid of the code I was getting and passed my emissions test, but since then I've had the filling issue. Could a ftps not inserted all the way flush be the cause? My only other option I thought about was getting rid of the airtek fuel pump and install a Delphi, and see if I still have issues, BTW new filler neck hose and vent hose

Fuel tank pressure sensor is mounted on the top of the tank and has nothing to do with it. Strictly coincidence. Make sure the rubber section of the filler neck, and the 3/4" vent line are not twisted or kinked. It has to be something with the filler neck, or the neck on the tank.

So yea, I feel stupid, the anti siphon cage/ball float was wedged inside the fuel inlet to the gas tank, did it after work today, took fuel like a champ, 13 gallons in about a minute, was very nice. Thanks for the help trouble shooting that, I could have sworn i removed the ball, maybe it was on my old filler neck lol.
