Default 2001 Chevy Blazer LS 4.3

I was driving the car yesterday and when I got home it suddenly idle kinda rough and died I did get it restarted and parked it checked all fluids the tranny fluid was a little low so I added more to fill it up and then the car started and ran fine. Took it out in the afternoon and ran it about three miles getting back home and it did the same thing only this time it wouldn't start back up. Put an OB2 scanner on it and it was giving the code of PO355 and it says short to voltage on copdrive circut can anyone give me a clue what this mean I can find any info on it. Some one told me it might be the coilpack arch I don't have money to waste buying things I don't need please help

*Moving to 2nd Gen Tech* - Please try to pay attention to the sections you are posting in. The 'Website Problems & Suggestions' section is not appropriate for technical questions involving your vehicle.

Please double check the trouble code your truck is displaying. COP == coil on plug which is something that these trucks were not equipped with. I do not see P0355 in my references which are for a 2000.

you sure that code wasnt p0335? thats a ckp sensor failure code. and would have symptoms like you describe.
if you have any oil leaks the wiring insulation near the ckp plug by the timing cover falls apart and can intermittently short together causing a rough run, stall or no start.

thank you for your information about where to post and yes I got it fixed I believe ended up replacing the coil because it said there was a open circuit somewhere after replacing that hooked up the OB2 again and that's when it showed the code for the crank sensor so it has been replaced and so far so go so hopefully that has taken care of it but again thank you
