well i went to 2 autozones and none of them can scan it
and i dont really want to go to a dealer and have it scanned
so i guess im going to take my chances and just get a new tccm box.
i can get em used foe 70 bucks

 

i'd get it scanned first so your not wasting your money if it has the 4wd service light on. find a local mechanic/or one you have had do work for you and see if he/she can give you a free scan on that service light

 

my dad does all my mechanic work. the only thing he doesnt do is transmissions
ill have him as around to see if he can get ahold of a scanner

 

i know you want to get it fixed asap. i'd want the same thing too if it was mine. getting diagnosed though first then replacing parts usually ends up being cheaper then guess and check part replacement. some time you get lucky and other times you dont. i just hate to see people replace a part that doesnt need to be replaced
