2001 gmc jimmy. The 4x4 worked fine through the winter then about a couple months ago the service 4x4 light came on The back lights on the push button control come on but the indicator light that tells you what your in does not come on and won't let me switch into any 4x4 Bout a few weeks after the light came on my car died and had to jump it back on. When I did the service 4x4 light didn't come back on BUT. I still can't shift it into 4x4. I have no idea what is going on. Looked at the thread that talks about these problems but nothing seems to relate to my problem. Can anyone help???
