I have a 2001 blazer 4wd lt automatic. The rear view mirror came off and I can't seem to get the little metal piece (that the mirror attaches too0 out. There is no catch or allen screw that i can see anywhere. Neither the owners manuel or the haynes book have any info at all about it. Can anyone help me? Probably, I'll feel dumb when i get the answer Thanks.

 

You need to stick a flat blade screwdriver in the base to separate the mirror from the mounting tab.
