rear view mirror removal

Default rear view mirror removal

does anyone know how to remove the rear view mirror off of a 96 blazer. i couldnt find a allen wrench screw so how does it come off??

there is a small metal tab glued to the windshield and the mirror is just snapped onto that tab... i believe you can just push the mirror towards the top of the windshield and it will come off. i have never taken it off, but i had to put mine back on and all i did was glue the tab to the glass and slide the mirror on

Mine has fallen off multiple time due to my subs and high heat during the summer... Behing the base there is a small tab that can be peeled off, like otnietdehoooo said you should be able to just push the mirror up and it should pop off.
