Code says “random or multiple misfire” Got 55psi fuel pressure at the shredder valve, got spark at coil! any ideas?

Does the pressure bleed off at all after the pump shuts off?

When was the last time a tune up was performed? Plugs, wires, cap & rotor?

 

I think it is the fuel pump, good spark at coil and plugs and with key on no pressure at shrader at all and no noise at fuel tank. Sound like a lot of people chasing something. How hard is it to change pump in tank?

 

I replaced the pump in the tank, not to bad 6 hours had to stop and get a get 18mm inpack socket, Autozone, had pump for 76$ and the pump and screen and sending unit for 96$ shucks said same part number with out sender 96$ with sender 216.00 same part the said Autozone has it wrong, I bought it from Autozone and paid 96$ for it all. Didn't know the pump is cooled by the gas and driving around on 1/8 a tank will over heat the pump. Good info. It was the Airtex, brand I will let you know how long it last. Thanks for all the info.
