I have a 2002 blazer. The last few weeks I have hade a headlight problem. I will start it up and the lights will not come on. The normally come on by them selvs. The switch dosn't work either. If I tilt the steering wheel back and fourth the lights will come on. Tonight I was driving and the lights went off when the turn signal clicked off. When I fiddled with the turn signal the lights came on. My brights work fine just the low beam and day time driving lights are giving me a headache.

It sound like you have a bad multi function ( turn signal ) switch.

I agree with chevylover and also it sounds like a short as well but check the switch first!!!!!

Found out that some of the wires going to the multi lever switch broke off. I went to a junkyard and bought a new stering wheel and took the wiring harness off and sottered the wires on. problem fixed.
