2002 Chevy Blazer and Unreliable Start
Hi all, I hope this is the correct place to post this message. I have a 2002 4-door Chevy Blazer. It has always been really good to me. I've hardly had to make any repairs at all. Last week, I went to start it, and it sounded like it was going to, and then I just started getting that clicking noise. We jumped it, and it was fine. (I thought someone didn't close my hatch good enough). So the next day, same thing. I took it to Auto Zone, and the guy said it was the alternator. (The battery is only about a year old). I had my mechanic change the alternator. I picked it up and it was fine. Now I go to start it tonight, and same thing...it won't start. Any ideas?
I just paid it off...doesn't it figure?
Thanks in advance for any help!

A deep cycle charge would be best. When you try to start it, do all the lights come on and you hear a click? Or do the lights not come on? If the lights are coming on and you don't hear the starter then its the starter. If the lights don't come on, its the battery.
