2002 chevy s10-blazer dogleg with rust spots
Hi, I have a 2002 chevy s10-blazer 4-door with rust spots/bubbles in paint on the driver side dogleg (quarter panel in front of rear wheel). Does anyone else have this and do you know if it is coming from the inner side of the panel. Is this a common problem for this body? I know the 2-door realy had this problem.
Any and all help would be great, pictures of other rust on dogleg would help to see if it looks like mine
Thanks

Well I took off the inner interior trim and found a good size hole and was able to see into the cavity of the dogleg, It looks as if GM used an expandable foam inside of it. Well I than got a tube and pored some rust destroyer into it, the stuff started dripping out the pinch weld seem inside the wheel well. That should hold off the rust I hope. Now I will polyurthane the seems inside the wheel well and cover that with undercoat to keep out the water.
What to you guys think?
I hope this helps as I caught this earlly.
