2002 s10-blazer 4-door dogleg rust spots
Hi, I have a 2002 chevy s10-blazer 4-door with rust spots/bubbles in paint on the driver side dogleg (quarter panel in front of rear wheel). Does anyone else have this and do you know if it is coming from the inner side of the panel. Is this a common problem for this body? I know the 2-door realy had this problem.
Any and all help would be great, pictures of other rust on dogleg would help to see if it looks like mine
Thanks

other than a little road rash right @ the lower edge of them, they're not bad.
no paint left, but no rot................yet.
funny..........i think there's more paint missing from the driver's side, not the passenger's side. and it's all below the side moulding.

Yeh, My paint is nice on the outside with little road rash, The rear has a big differance on road rash, If the door sits in more then the dogleg it will see more road rash, that is what I noticed.
But my dogleg is rusting from the inside, I took off the interior trim and found a good size hole I can see into the cavity of the dogleg. I got a tube and poured rust destroyer into it, the stuff started comming out the pinch weld in the wheel well. I will polyurethane the seems and coat that with undercoating.
I noticed my inlaws 97 jimmy has alot more seem sealer used on thiers
I guess GM has to cheap out sooner or later.
