Default 2002 Headlight mounting tabs

On my 2002 the lower headlight tabs are broken off (by previous owner) and consequently the headlight are a bit loose. They are now only fixed by the retainer clip that you pull up to start removing the headlight.
Since it is a European model it have special headlights that are not available through sources in the US and if you're lucky you can find some in a junk yard.

My idea is to buy new ones from the US and just use the mount/adjust assembly that seems to be bolted to the lamp housing and by doing so get proper lower tabs.

Is this possible to remove those and move over to my lamp housings.

Thanks

Yes..

By the way, if you ever come across the EURO part number for the extra wide ZR2 front flares, please pass it on

It would be more work but you could probably slap those in the oven and change out the back of the housing. Have you got a picture of them? I'm trying to imagine what is different about them.

I'm not sure, but you may be able to have another euroblazer owner get a bunch of decent photos and someone can design a 3d printable headlamp clip, I used a 3d printed headlamp clip on my 2003 USA blazer and it held up surprisingly well

If Rock Auto Parts doesn't have the parts you need, try 1A Auto to see if they do have it in stock. I looked at 1A and they had the 'adjustment' tabs, but I am not sure if that is what you are looking for. Another good source is LMC Truck parts.. Good luck !
