2002 ZR2 DRL question
Hey guys, I've been searching for an answer but am still confused on what the expected operation is for my DRL's on my model blazer, 2002 ZR2 Canadian model.
My DRL's are my low beams but they seem to run at full power during the day with the light system on Automatic. When switching the headlights to ON from Automatic they do not get any brighter, in fact I would say they dim ever so slightly. (maybe just power draw from the parking lights and tail lights coming on?)
Other then that they seem fine, at night they work as expected. I had to replace the light control module in the dash when I got this Blazer, other then that I put in some Spyder projector headlights with halogen bulbs, pretty much plug and play there so don't think thats an issue. (low beam bulbs are now H1's instead of HB4's)
I'm in Canada so I wanted to make sure my DRL's are working properly, I've read some guys say that the ZR2's run the low beams at full power, others say low beams at low power, and then some say high beams at low power so not sure what I should be expecting on mine.
