Hiya!
I have read several threads ont he forum and was hoping someone might help. I have an '03 4WD 2 door blazer with the 4.3L in it, and I have the same rattle under load everyone else talks about. I have two questions:
1) Should I spend the money to get the chain and tensioner changed or is it ok to go with the rattle?
2) Is there a way to make the damn noise go away?

It want go away, the noise that is without putting the chain tensioner in. I no the newer 4.3 have the Chain tensioner in them from the Factory. I am not sure what year they started this ? Not sure if yours even has one in it ? Thats why the Noise. GM had this Problem and this was the Fix to Install the Tensioners. Also NAPA has them for about $80.00. Hope this Helps?
