hey everyone just recieved word that my old 2001 blazer just had the transmission and timing chain go out. the tranny was estimated to be 2,800 and the timing chain 1,500. just letting everyone know. also it happend at 71,500 miles just 1,500 after i sold it to them feel pretty bad about it but he was ok with it he said it wasnt my faultthere was one owner b4 me that put 58,000 miles on it and im not sure how rough they were on it but when i bought it the tires were pretty bald had no brakes left and a low hanging door. but anyways just thought i would tell everyone about the problem.

Man that sucks, but they got soaked on the repairs! Hope that mechanic used a lot of lube!

 

wow, thats alot for a tranny rebuild.

 

yea i know i think if it were me i would rebuild it with my g pa for cheap but i guess not everyone has the ability to do that huh
