2003 blazer Electrical issues?
I own a bare bones 2003 Blazer LS and just swapped in all the cruise control components from a 2000 GMC Envoy(turn signal assembly, cruise control module and the cable from the module to the throttle body.)
Cruise works great, as well as everything else. The only thing that is "broken" now is the door chime goes off the second you open the door, regardless of the position of the ignition or the light control switch on the dash. The door sensor works as does the light switch. I did swap them with other working units just to make sure that wasn't the problem. I did tear apart the dash to make sure there wasn't any thing unplugged.
The next thing I could do is switch the turn signal assembly back to the original unit, but I'd really rather not.
Any ideas as to what could be calling this?

I believe the door chime is controlled by the body control module (BCM). It is on my 2000. You may need to have a BCM reprogram. I've unplugged the chime on every car I've had and was disappointed to find out I couldn't shut off this one.
That makes sense. Is that something that has to be programmed by the dealer?
