Default 2004 2WD 2 Door Chev. Blazer

After having a new turn signal/low-high beam switch installed now my Blazer now my lighted gear selector and odometer keeps flickering on and off, mostly when I first crank it. Is there a fuse or relay I need to check that I cannot seem to find? Or would it help to take the negative off my battery and it may possibly reset?
Thanks for any help I can get for this problem.

Is this the gear selector in the dash? Is it dimming as if the lights were turned on? What happens if you move the dash dimmer rocker from full brightness to lowest brightness, does the dash illumination ever cutout?
