Ok so my brother in law change my intake gasket,finally got everything put back together and it took along time for it to finally start.When it did its VERY sluggish like even when idiling itll go from 1000 to 2500 rpm when idiling and theres whitish blue smoke coming from the tailpipe.Any ideas? I havent changed the oil yet and i believe he said the pvc valve was cracked and needed replaced. Thanks in advance

 

i am about 99.9% sure its the pcv valve needing replaced. my very first vehicle was a gmc safari with a 4.3 and it did the exact same thing. it was the pcv valve.

 

yep thats what it was,he replaced it and changed the oil and it runs wonderful...i think i'll need new plugs soon tho,hopefully that'll make the old girl happy and she'll run for awhile longer Thanks again
