Default 4l60e Valve Body Rebuild w/ Transgo SK-4L60E

Hey all.
I'll be rebuilding my valve body on my 2000 Blazer's 4l60e soon. i'll be using the Transgo SK-4L60E shift kit. The purpose of the rebuild is to hopefully fix a faulty lockup problem.

While I have it off, I'd like to replace whatever other recommended parts to prevent future problems. I've read that using the Transgo seperator plate is recommended. I've also read of replacing the boost valve, pistons with pinless metal, and replacing the check ***** with a different material.
Any other suggestions? does this all sound correct?
Thanks in advance!

Any input guys?
I've read that the upgraded torlon check ballz are not necessary when using the transgo plate. But if replacing the ballz is a good idea I dont mind spending an extra $5 for a set.
I know this can all be learned thru research but I rarely have time to read article after article and need to order my parts TODAY.
What other parts should I replace in conjuction with the Transgo kit??
I'm not looking for a performance trans whatsoever, just need to fix lockup issue and fix other common problems. but is a vette servo a bad idea for practical daily driving?
