Exclamation 4wd issues

My 97 4wd blazer is having issues with disengaging 4wd. I recently had to replace the actuator do to a rip in the diaphram. now it engages but it doesnt want to disengage, and it almost seems like its in 4low when 4high is selected. and when it finally does disengage it makes a loud clunk (louder than usual) and you can feel it throughout the blazer. Makes it feel like it could throw me off course. Any help will be appreciated.

check your front diff and see if its low on fluid. or it might be the shift fork inside the diff binding or bent. or check the endcoder motor on the side of the transfer case it cold be binding or going bad. i have a similar problem with my 98 blazer 4x4 it only makes a loud clunk when i endgage in 4lo and disengage from 4lo. and my 4lo seems to cut in and out sometimes or slips. but my 4hi works great
