hey i was out for a ride in the mud today and my brother in his jeep got stuck behind me and of ourse i had to pll him out haha.... and i jsut gave him one big jerk in 4x4 to get him out and then my 4x4 wouldnt work anyidea how to fix it or what is wrong???/

just a little ad on to my original post my 4 wheel drive light says i ma engaged but it is inly in 2 wheel drive and yo can hear it click in to wheel drive bu tnot in to 4 wheel drive?????????????

Front axle engagement actuator (under battery). Check to see if it has vacuum. If not, it is the switch on the transfer case. If it does and the actuator does not pull in when vacuum is applied, the actuator is bad. If it does pull in, but still does not engage the front axle, the cable is likely froze up.

i am jsut lookin where you saisd for me to look but i am not really sure how i am suposed to see if it has vaccume jsut a beginner at this think i can get things dumbed down for me a lil maybe... thanks

His explaation is about as "dumbed down" as it gets ...

But basically unplug it and see if it is sucking air.. if it is then that is a vaccum.
