4X4 doesn't engage in a 1999 Blazer LT
Hi Guys!!! Can you help me with my Chevy Blazer LT 1999?
I'm newbie @ this forum...I'll be thankfull for any help...
My chevy is a gift from my parents...A couple days ago, I tried to activate the 4X4 in the dash, and it doesn't work. I've already checked:
-The TCCM
-The fuses
When try to activate it, only the 2HI light stays on...the others, never stop flashing. When I do this the interior lights go a little less shiny, and It makes a sound like a click in the kick panel of the passenger seat (front)... Then, the lights stay flashing...
I've heard that I have to check the "Vacuum" under the battery, but I don't know how to do it... Can you give me ANY help on how to make work the 4X4???
Thnks, I'm writting from Guatemala City, Take care.

You say you checked the fuses. I just wanted to make sure you checked the fuse in the engine compartment fuse box, 20 amp fuse labeled 'ATC'. If it is blown, the solenoid in the passenger side interior kick panel will click several times while the light on the 4X4 push button blinks for a few seconds, untilit reverts to 4X2.
