4x4 hopping/slipping
I was not able to utilize my 4x4 until today. After reading some of the posts on here I located the vacuum line and it was not connected. I had the blinking light originally and now when I push the 4 hi or 4 lo it engages. Problem now is when i go to turn around or even take a turn very slow it is hopping/slipping. It seems to be fine going straight just when reversing or turning very slowly does it do this. My blazer is a 2000 4.3L. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am brand new to this forum and am very thankful to this group for the
help thus far.

RE: 4x4 hopping/slipping
It sounds almost like the transfer case is still engaged. Check the transfer case fluid. If it hasn't been changed for a while, change it and make sure you use the autotrak 2 fluid which is blue in colour.
The owners' manual indicated the wrong fluid as the updated fluid came out after the manual was printed.
