4x4 thumping

I have not heard anything from the forum regarding this, since 12/1. I am not sure where the problem lies. I changed the Diff fluid and that helped the griding, at least it hasn't reoccured. I still don't know about the thump on exit from 4wd???

I sure would like to get to the bottom of it. I am concerned that it will cause harm.... I had to replace the tranny last year, I hope I don't have to replace something else.

That 'thump' may just be your front axle disengaging. It was a normal thing on my old Ram, but I don't have such a feature on my Bravada to tell you whether it is normal for your truck though.

My Blazer is new to me, less than 2 years. So I don't know if it is normal (i.e. always been there) or if it is a concern.
