UPDATE! I checked the timing (top to bottom) and found it was off 1 or 2 teeth. The rotor did not line up with the mark on the base of the dist when the bottom was on #1 TDC. I pulled the dist. and found the reluctor was bent and rubbing the cam sensor!
I had it in the shop recently and was charged to have this sensor changed. could the the reluctor rubbing in the sensor as it passes cause this P1345 code?
I have ordered the dist, and it will come with a new cam sensor on it. Hope this fixes the surging and the code....Any thoughts?
