Default 95 Blazer Water Pump

Hey everyone. So I've got a coolant leak somewhere between my radiator and engine right by the fan, it has to be the water pump right? It seems to only leak overnight, while running nothing leaks.

I've replaced water pumps on caprices before and it pretty easy, how hard is it on the blazers?

Yeah, not too hard. I did it afew months ago. Hardest part was getting the round double ended screws out of the old water pump.

I tell u what...i am pro at waterpumps on 1st gens..

My 1st blazer i had,had over 600k on it..I redid 9 water pumps in 2 months. They would hold for a few, then leak again. to find out the block surface was warped. I stuck a ruler against it and could see light! So i finally fixed it.2 gaskets on 1 side, and 5 on the other, and tightened it as tight as i could possibly get it. didnt leak for 5 months, then i sold it.

Oh, and by the way btmbass. My water pump would leak whilst running.

I found this out on a 450 mile trip and while getting gas I came out of the station and saw that my blazer was bleeding! Orange coolent all over the bottom of the truck.

Something to think about.
