95 Jimmy CMFI pig rich at idle fine otherwise
Hello all, I own a 95 2door Jimmy, 145k ran like a top until the other day I went to get on it getting on the highway to go 1 exit, got off and I had a surging idle and could smell unburnt fuel coming from the exaust.
Limped it to where I had to go and then back home, got a CEL codes 32 and 34 MAP and EGR decided to replace both of those and the spark plugs that got fouled out from this condition. I now have a much smoother but still weak, rich idle.
I cleaned the IAC valve, & re-gapped the cap and still have this condition.
Any ideas? it seems to go away above 10% throttle and still surges occasionally coasting down from speed.
