Okay just checked the fuel pressure goes to 80 and stays...do I have a faulty fuel pressure regulator?

edit: it was a faulty fuel pressure regulator. All is well now. Fuel pressure is perfect

If the pressure tester gauge is accurate, and the 80psi reading was taken at the service port by the distributor, and there are no restrictions in the fuel return line, (kinks etc) the fuel pressure regulator is faulty.
