Default '95 s10 Blazer oil leak

I have a '95 S10 blazer, 4wheel, and everytime I start it, it pours oil out. It's comin from a couple inches in front of the oil pan, any ideas? PLEASE HELP!

What is it exactly you want help with?
You have an oil leak. Find where it's leaking and fix it.
Here's a hint.. Have you ever changed the oil filter? See those two hoses going to it? Follow them back to the engine.

PS, If it is indeed 'pouring out' ...I assume that means steady stream... do not drive it, or even run the engine.

Pettyfog is right. It is usually the oil cooler/remote filter lines that leak. I just did mine last weekend. Pretty easy job.

Yes, I had an oil change a week and a half ago, and they changed the filter. I'm so that great with vehicles, I'm usually just the helper, not doin the whole repair myself, so I'm having a hard time with this one. I'm hoping you're right and it's just the hoses, pretty sure I could fix that myself. Thanks

You might get lucky, lose filter or maybe they did not tighten the drain plug and it was hanging by a thread. You can find that on pas, side, stick your head under the front tire and look up towards the front. That is from behind the tire.

Yeah to all the above: oil lines probably- But I just had to respond to pettyfogs essay! He is SO correct! These units aren't perfect, but where can one get a totally reliable vehicle for so little $! My first I picked up for $500! I then realized what a good unit it was-retired at 256K due to frame & body rust,I drove that car for 3 years! Picked up a low mileage 97 2 years ago for $1500-transfered all good parts to it and has been trouble free for 2 years now-almost 60K later-So: cheap insurance, good fuel economy, relatively easy to work on and my cost per mile is LOW! Try doing that with a Camry!

Well I checked the filter, not loose. Checked the drain plug, snug as a bug. Turns out there's a leak somewhere in the remote oil filter housing...? This was decided while I was under it, and describing everything I saw to my brother over the phone. I got this truck for $500, but I've had to do a lot to it. New radiator, new starter, new power steering pump, new fuel pump, all new exhaust system (after a ticket for it being loud), and now this. My first car was a '94 Camry, and I put WAAAYYYY less money into her in the 2 years and 200k miles I put on her than I have in the past 1.5 years and 100k miles I've put on this. Plus getting 29 mpg with the Camry compared to the 10mpg I get with this... Oh well.

Did you use new hoses when you put the oil filter on? I am having a similar problem, just not as bad. the hoses are leaking where they are swaged into the fitting. Was talking to my mechanic and he commented that he sees this a lot. He also owns a blazer as a shop car.The hoses last an avg of 100k miles, I am at 186k so am ahead of the game. Just gotta get it done before they pop off or next weekend,
