Reluctor ring for what? Technically there are two on the engine. Cam & crank. The reluctor ring for the cam provides 1 pulse per revolution of the crankshaft. The reluctor ring for the crank has 4 slots, 60* apart which creates 4 pulses per revolution of the crankshaft.
