96 blazer sputters when first put in gear
I have a 96 4x4 blazer that when I first go out in the morning to go to work it starts up fine an idles good but as soon as I put it in gear an give it gas it hesitates an sputters for a second like its going to stall than goes away an it dosent happen again unless it sits fir a long period of time like over nite. Does anyone have any idea what would be causing that.

Carbon build up on the idle air control valve could be causing it to stick a bit after sitting. When the idle drops from putting it in gear the iac valve should open a little to allow more air and increase your idle back to normal. Should be pretty smooth and seamless. Can you get the same results in the morning by turning on the air conditioner instead of putting it in gear? If ac doesn't work this won't change idle.
