Default 96 blazer turn signal problem

My problem is when I turn on my headlights it shows the left turn signal as being on. What could cause this problem a short in the wire or a bad switch.

check the turn signal bulbs in the front and rear on the side with the directional light on some vehicles they use that as a bulb out warning

Lets narrow it down a little.

How about park lights on, key off?

Does turn signal work, otherwise?

What does left front light look like with turn signal on?

underhood fuse block.. pull left turn fuse. {10 A}

Pull front left park/turn bulb

cycle emerg flash sw a few times.. change?

Wish I coud narrow it down more but alldata diags suck for tracing anything.
