I have a 96 S-10 4.3 and today coming home from work after it just quit on me , It fired back up but took about 10 seconds. I drove about 2 miles and it quit again, same thing a lengthy crank and it fired back up. I changed the fuel filter,(on the side of the road) and it done fine for about 30 minutes and then it quit again. It will restart but after a lengthy crank. There doesnt seem to be any noticable power loss and when it does quit I smell a strong gas odor. Any ideas?
