replaced ignition switch, starter, battery, and cleaned terminals/ grounds. at the tip of my nerves with this thing.

 

any active codes?
also make sure your wires to the starter are in good contact it kept my car from starting one time.

 

havent ran codes but the wires are nice and snug

 

if it cranks normally but just doesnt actually start and rev up its your fuel pump. try turning the key to the on postion and see if you hear the fuel pump load up (the on position is when u turn your key and are able to move the power windows/or when your daytime running lamps come on) i went thru this last year and i have a 97 too

just be careful when you take off the fuel tank. there is a pressure valve at the front of the tank

if you need me to post my experience changing out my fuel pump just let me know. ill be on here for a little while tryin to find out why my a/c only blows warm air

I know for a fact its not my fuel pump that was just replaced about 6 month ago and it absolutey will not crank turn over nothing
