ive been wanting to get a towing hitch to haul a small camping trailer for my blazer, but i havent been able to find a cheap towing hitch for the 98. one of my friends has a 97 and wanted to know if i wanted to get the towing hitch off of it and i was wondering if itll work on my 98 blazer. its a 4wd if that matters

 

I would think they would... Don't think they really changed the frames between the two years.

Look at how his bolts on, and then look at yours. Probably soak the bolts in PB blaster the day before, to make your life easier.

 

The only difference would be if he has a factory roll pan style bumper and you have a step bumper. Other than that it will swap right over.
