Default 98 4.3 turns over will not start

Last week my blazer just turned off, no noise and I did not realize until I went to move from the light. Had it towed home and hooked up the code reader, came up as a P1080. Replaced the sensor, still no luck. Found a vacuum line a boot that were cracked and open, replaced both. I can here the fuel pump but it seems I am not getting any spark. Tested the ignition coil after doing some checking and end up replacing that, still no luck. All my plugs, wires and complete distributor were replaced 1.5 years ago. I really need some help as I am starting a new job in less then a week and can not get this to fire anymore, any suggestions?

DTC's never tell you that a specific part needs to be replaced. It tells you what circuit malfunctioned. Following the diagnostic flow chart will lead you to the problem.

There are several things that can cause the engine to stall, and not set a DTC in memory. Ignition and fuel delivery are two of them, so it's best to start looking there.

Remove the coil wire from the distributor, prop it up so the open end is with 1/2" of chassis/body ground. Crank the engine and check for a blue, not orange, spark while the starter is cranking. Post your results.
